The First Session of Tickers Rehab

The first session of Tickers took place on the 6th February 2001 following the determined efforts of the Broomfield Cardiac Rehab. team and one member, David Scrutton, to establish the facility.

The initial session welcomed 18 members, the majority of whom are still regulars today.

Nearly all members have completed the rehabilitation course at Broomfield Hospital before joining Tickers.

The club is a non-profit making organisation and is affiliated to the British Heart Foundation.
